But it is an \u201cindependent accident\u201d pasta. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, it was born by accident. Anyway, this <\/span><b>scialatielli pasta with walnut sauce and red chicory<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0is the result of an empty-my-fridge lunch, masquerading as tendentious, chic and sophisticated meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do you remember the beetroot crepes with radicchio and walnuts <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recipe<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? (No? All right, well, <\/span><b><i>click here<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> So, b\u00e9chamel sauce, red chicory and a few walnuts <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">were <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">left over. I hate to throw food. The daily dose of &#8220;Kristel you have to clear your dinner plate because African children are dying of hunger&#8221; has &#8211; thanks mom &#8211; paid off in my conduct of no more child. Before the chicory browns, add a few tablespoons of broth as needed. It will cook for half an hour or so.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Make the b\u00e9chamel sauce in this way: melt the butter, turn off the heat and pour the flour, stir with a whisk until create a batter. Pour the milk a little at a time and mix well. Light the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stove<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and brings to the boil (without stop stirring). When your sauce reaches a creamy and smooth consistency turn off the heat and add salt. This is not the \u201cscholastic\u201d method to make the bechamel sauce but with this method it\u2019s impossible to fail the mission.
