Relaxed faces, smiles, palatal orgasms only.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the need to pretend does not knock at your door, missing the appointment.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They say that being yourself is one of the most difficult things to accomplish in the pages of our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be yourself.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We must learn to be what we already are? It sounds like telling a rose to learn how to perfume.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insane and true.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perhaps the happiness also lies in this, learning to Be without contemplating the Not to Be.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shape yourself<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> without distorting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To make long story short. My friends Andrea and Fra organized a dinner. Wine was not lacking. That&#8217;s the why of the ravings above. I said, they cooked this awesome <\/span><b>potato and leek soup with crispy bacon<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of those dishes that, to be clear, after a minute of tastings and moaning enclosing all the possible satisfaction in the universe, not much goes on here. Only the symphony of the steel that, in vain, and in spite of themselves, are rubbed on the porcelain, the pace, in a frantic research of the last <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">lovely bones<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Satisfaction. Greed.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So I did the dirty work, my friend described the recipe. Just two changes. However, Andrea and Fra are two great souls. Without knowing them, no doubt you will agree with me when you\u2019ll taste this cream.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh, Luca, the same Luca who refuses to eat &#8220;cooked vegetables&#8221; or soups or stews or creams \u2013 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">begs<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> me to cook it on a weekly basis. And I&#8217;ve told you everything.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">POTATO AND LEEK SOUP WITH CRISPY BACON \u2013 the recipe<\/span><\/h4>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INGREDIENTS (serves 6)<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">600 gr of potatoes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 leek <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vegetable stock q.s.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">150 ml of cream (or milk as you prefer)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">80 gr of grated Parmesan<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a pinch of turmeric and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">brown <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Extra virgin olive oil, black pepper, salt q.s.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 gr of bacon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Homemade brown bread <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A clove of garlic<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>While you\u2019re tasting, listen:<\/strong> <em>Take it out on me, White Lies<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14956\" src=\"http:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2.jpg\" alt=\"crema di patate e porro\" width=\"850\" height=\"873\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2.jpg 850w, https:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2-292x300.jpg 292w, https:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2-768x789.jpg 768w, https:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2-330x339.jpg 330w, https:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2-690x709.jpg 690w, https:\/\/test.theeatculture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/vellutata-patate_2-565x580.jpg 565w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>PROCESS<\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Put in a saucepan a little extra virgin olive oil with leek cutted into rings &#8211; keep aside the Leek bottom, the part closest to the root. Cook for a few minutes <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">over<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> low heat.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Peel, wash and chop the potatoes; add them to the leeks and pour in the stock. Cook for an hour and a half, stirring ocasionally (if you have pressure cooker the cooking time are halved).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Turn off the heat, add salt and pepper, add the cream and the grated Parmesan; blend with an immersion blender trying to incorporate air as much as possible. When you have obtained a velvety and creamy soup cover with a lid and set aside for a moment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Get the leek that you set aside initially, eliminates the bottom with the roots, cut very thin slices, obtaining a sort of julienne.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> On very low heat, put in a skillet a little olive oil, the leek julienne and a pinch of sugar.
