Can you measure talent? I strongly believe it<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s not possible, because there are no metrics. Talent is not just a matter of skill, but also of intuition and creativity. Television programs, perhaps, they have become so used to judge the talent of others, that we can no longer surprise us. Or maybe, because of lack of time, we look at things superficially.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here, for example, you might see just a glance of the movement of a galloping horse. And instead this movie, made by the british student Jon Rolph, is unbelievable. Each frame is in fact <\/span>uniquely<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>composed of carefully placed LEGO<\/span>\u00ae\u00a0<\/span>pieces and it took up to 8 hours of work for every single frame.\u00a0<\/span>Its name, Horse in Motion, recall the famous series of photographs by Eadweard Muybridge, who in 1878 showed for the first time as the horses, while galloping, tear off the ground all 4 feet.<\/p>\n

Horse in Motion is a great little movie, but it is also a demonstration of talent. Because Jon Rolph is not only good, it is not only young, but it is also a self-taught stop-motion animator. And in the end, to us viewers, we have to wonder. Because the talent is not something to judge, but to appreciate.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
